La Crosse Police Department have reported that the body of Eliotte Heinz was recovered in the Mississippi River near Brownsville, Minnesota.

The La Crosse Police Department announced Friday that preliminary autopsy results show no evidence of criminal conduct in the death of Eliotte Heinz. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities await final autopsy results.

An air quality alert was issued by the National Weather Service in La Crosse at 2:08 p.m. on Thursday, July 24.
