A “hypercar” is considered a step above a “supercar,” based on performance aspects of a vehicle such as speed, acceleration and 0-60 mph times.

General Motors has unveiled the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X, according to CNBC. The high-performance hybrid “hypercar” has 1,064 horsepower and a top speed of 233 mph. Corvette marketing manager Megan Dalley called the ZR1X the most advanced Corvette ever and described it as America's true hypercar.

The basic layout of the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZRX1’s interior will be familiar to those who have driven other Corvettes. A new three-screen layout and updated center console form part of the changes.
