Nearly 50 protests are planned across Florida July 17, in response to what organizers call "civil and human attacks" by the Trump administration.

An anti-President Donald Trump protest is being planned for T hursday in a traditionally Republican stronghold. The protest is being held in The Villages, a sprawling retirement community of more than 150,000 residents across three Central Florida counties with a largely GOP-voting population of retirees, per Gulf Live.

Central Floridians joined a nationwide call to action by taking to the streets to protest what’s happening in Washington, D.C.
