After a 6-1 blowout loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday, Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl delivered an empassioned speach encouraging his teammtes to turn the page and move forward.

Draisaitl is making his case for the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, the award McDavid won last year in a losing effort and refused to leave the locker room to accept. He pulled even with McDavid as the favorite on BetMGM Sportsbook after scoring in overtime and tying him for the postseason scoring lead with 32 points.

Draisaitl’s breakthrough against Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky on an attempted pass that glanced in off defenceman Niko Mikkola came after the Oilers battled back from a 3-0 first-period deficit before recovering from a blown 4-3 lead late.
