United Airlines flight schedules are slowly returning to normal after a nationwide technical issue forced flight cancellations and delays Wednesday night. The airline’s travel alert page notes that a technology disruption may impact flights to or from 14 airports including Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and Chicago.

There is a ground stop for Untied Airlines flights at Chicago O'Hare Airport Wednesday evening. United said in a statement that a "technology issue" is causing them to hold departures.
