IU Indianapolis hired Ben Howlett away from Division II West Liberty (W.Va.) to take over the men's basketball program, the school announced Monday.
The Jaguars moved quickly after firing Paul Corsaro, and landed Ben Howlett, a winner from the Division II level.
Howlett was 217-37 at West Liberty with eight straight Mountain East Conference regular-season titles and eight straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
Ben Howlett has been named the 12th head coach in IU Indy history, taking over the program after Paul Corsaro was let go.
