Armenia and Azerbaijan leaders praise former President Trump's role in brokering historic peace framework that promises regional economic integration.

Armenia and Azerbaijan published the text of a U.S.-brokered peace agreement on Monday, pledging to respect each other's territorial integrity and formally put an end to nearly four decades of conflict.

President Donald Trump has been hailed as a "peacemaker" by a senior diplomat for overseeing the initial agreement between two historical rivals. The Azerbaijan Ambassador to the UK Elin Suleymanov said the US President "doesn't pursue ideological narrative" as he welcomed talks between Baku and neighbouring Armenia.
