The 18-year-old basketball star, the son of former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas, was involved in a collision last week and needed to be put into an induced coma as a result. The USC commit was leaving a workout in the San Fernando Valley around 4:55 a.m. on April 24, when he appeared to lose control of his Tesla Cybertruck.

Arenas was discharged Wednesday after nearly a week in the hospital. His full recovery can now continue at home.

Arenas' family said the five-star basketball recruit and University of Southern California commit will remain under close watch.
