The Trump administration has leveled serious accusations against former President Barack Obama, alleging his involvement in a "treasonous conspiracy" related to intelligence reports on Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Although it had been rare for there to be so much friction between current and former occupants of the Oval Office, Obama has been a frequent target of Trump’s attacks.

In terms of day-to-day events, the former president tends to steer clear of the arena. There are, however, occasional exceptions.
