Not so much a beach—it’s a sandy shore that boarders parts of the lake! The sand turns into small rocks in the water, so I would recommend to bring water shoes. The whole park was free of trash, including the sandy shore. People seemed really respectful
What month is best for tent camping on the when and with kids? September or October? Early or late in the month?
A:
Usually anytime after Labor Day weekend. The lake is not as busy and the camping is not as crowded. You should have more room to yourself, especially during the week.
